WHO WE ARE
WHO WE ARE
PURPOSE. IMPACT. WAY.
The purpose is what we believe the Lord has called us to be about, the impact is the biblical result of carrying out our purpose, and the way is how God accomplishes His purposes through His church according to Scripture. Check out the information below to get a better understanding of our purpose, impact, and way. At the bottom of the page you will find a message presented by Pastor Robert and Pastor Dillon where they lay out what scripture calls us to be about.
The below is a result of careful and prayerful study of God’s Word by the elders at Heartland Church. We believe God gives us clear instructions for the Church in scripture. He also uniquely equips each believer and each local church. Expressed below is our interpretation of His instructions for His church and how the gifts of the body at Heartland can be used to fulfill the Great Commision in Desoto County and beyond.
PURPOSE
We exist to glorify God by following Jesus, proclaiming His name, and living in His grace.
Glorify God (Isaiah 43:7)
Follow Jesus (Matthew 4:19)
Proclaim Jesus (Romans 10:14-17)
Live in His Grace (Ephesians 2:8-9)
IMPACT
To fulfill the Great Commision in Desoto County and beyond.
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Matthew 28:19-20
