KIDS MINISTRY

The kids' ministry at Heartland is an integral part of our broader focus on discipleship. At all ages, in all stages of life, we want to be faithful to Christ's call to make disciples and teach them all He has commanded us. 

Heartland Kids offers programs for kids from birth through 5th grade. Your children will be in a safe environment where they will learn about Jesus and have a fun time doing it. 

 

At Heartland Kids, we want to partner with parents to ensure that every child knows that Jesus loves them and wants a relationship with them. We hope to inspire kids to love and follow Jesus in their every day life through engaging them in fun, meaningful, and memorable ways. We have Kids Ministry Teams ready for the whole family. YOUR FIRST VISIT

Visiting us for the first time? No fear! We are so glad you joining us! When you arrive to the church building, look for the large colorful sign to the left in the foyer that says “KIDS CHECK-IN”. We will meet your family, check your child into class, and answer any questions you may have. You can also contact us by clicking the button below. We can't wait to meet you!

SAFETY

Heartland Kids team members are trained to create an atmosphere where families can confidently leave their children while they are in service. Every team member is screened with a background check and our Safe Team monitors the entrances to the kids area during every service. When you check in, we’ll provide you and your child with a tag that has a child-specific number associated with it. Throughout the morning your child will stay in our secure children’s area while gathering with all our kids to worship through music and learning biblical truths. All children will remain in their small group room or in the children’s area until you pick them up by verifying your check in tag number with a small group leader. Don't worry parents - we've got this!

WHAT WE TEACH

At Heartland Kids we desire for every child to know the whole story of the Bible and how it applies to their life. They will also have a lot of fun doing so! To help us accomplish this mission, we use The Gospel Project for Kids Curriculum. This curriculum covers the entirety of Scripture over the course of three years, and every lesson helps kids connect the whole Bible to the hope of Christ. You can check out an example by clicking the button below.

FAMILY WORSHIP

Family worship Sundays at Heartland provide opportunities not only to teach our kids about biblical worship, but also for parents to model what worship looks like. Join us every 5th Sunday for family worship!
