Giving at Heartland Church

Generosity as an act of worship.

WHY WE GIVE

Giving is an act of worship, not an obligation.

In 2 Corinthians 8:9, Paul shares with us the true motive for giving. He says, “For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, so that you by His poverty might become rich." Having received the immeasurable riches of God's grace through Christ, we joyfully respond by giving back to Him. We believe faithful, regular, and sacrificial generosity is an act of worship and a mark of spiritual maturity, enabling the mission of the church and the spread of the gospel.

WHY GIVE TO HEARTLAND CHURCH?

GIVING INITIATIVE

Eliminating debt to maximize gospel impact.

The MTNMVRS initiative is about more than paying off debt—it is about removing barriers to greater gospel ministry. By eliminating debt, we can maximize the use of our facilities, reduce unnecessary financial burdens, and free more resources to invest in disciple-making, missions, and the work God has called us to do. Simply put, we must move the MTN of debt in front of us so we can be better prepared to cross MTNS with the good news of the gospel.

Why MTNMVRS?

Every month, Heartland invests $11,910 toward debt repayment—resources that could otherwise fuel gospel ministry. By reducing debt and improving our facilities, we are freeing more resources and creating more opportunities to make disciples and reach our community with the gospel.

How do I participate in MTNMVRS?

Prayerfully consider how God would have you invest in the MTNMVRS initiative. While we celebrate reaching our initial goal, we still have a long journey toward our $1.5 million vision. You can give in person or online and join us in moving the mountain of debt to expand our gospel impact.

Should I redirect my tithe to MTNMVRS?

No. Your regular giving supports the ongoing ministry and mission of Heartland Church. MTNMVRS is an opportunity to give above and beyond your regular giving, helping remove financial barriers so we can expand our gospel impact for years to come.
