MENS MINISTRY

We want to provide biblical community for the men of our church and surrounding neighborhoods. The specific offerings for men are meant to sharpen one another through discipleship. These efforts are meant to help each other be more like Christ in our lives, homes, relationships, work, etc. That means we teach each other God's Word, encourage one another, challenge one another, and point the men of Heartland to the Cross of Christ.

Join other men meeting regularly to point each other to a life marked by Christ. This group primarily uses Tally Ho, the Fox as curriculum. You can order a copy of that book here.

Men's prayer group is for us to petition God to rise up kingdom men. We gather to encourage, disciple, and pray for each of us to grow stronger in our walk with the Lord. We also pray for God to rise up men to grow into strong spiritual leaders in their families and the church. We believe men are the backbone of their family and church, and it is so important for us to express our need for Jesus every day. We believe prayer is vital to the life of every Christ follower. Praying with others unifies us and connects us with the purposes of Christ. All men are invited.

“The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.”
James 5:16b

Do I have to pray out loud?

You do NOT have to pray out loud. You can pray silently or quietly. We just want you to be praying regularly and sincerely.

Join other men before work as they work through various works in Christian literature. Prayer, accountability, encouragement...find it all in community with other men chasing after Jesus.
